The Holmium laser allows the treatment of stones, be they bladder (link with prostate laser), ureteral or pelvic (kidney) stones.
In order to carry out the treatment, it is necessary to use endoscopic equipment (cystoscopy, semi-rigid or flexible ureteroscopy). In this way, access is made to where the lithiasis is, through the device a fiber is introduced that transmits the laser energy. In this way it is possible to fragment and pulverize the stones. With special instruments the fragments are removed.
